Location: Northampton – Children’s Soft Play & Entertainment Centre, Fit Out.
Client requirement: Convert a commercial warehouse to a fully functioning play centre, to provide the largest soft play in the UK, a restaurant dining experience for families, climbing wall, art studio and go kart track.
WorkBox UK acted as principal contractor to bring the project from client concept to a fully functioning facility.
Space: 26,000 sq ft
Our solution:
- Manage and co-ordinate the design providing a cost effective fit out
- Provide guidance and knowledge to the client to ensure proof of concept
- Liaison with landlords to obtain design approval
- Establish energy capacities to site and upgrade both gas and power supplies.
- Upgrade drainage system and install WC’s
- Installation of a mezzanine floor
- Civil works to building shell
- General fit-out: 16 weeks
