WorkBox were selected by the Bupa Dental Project team to carry out a comprehensive refurbishment of their existing dental practice in York. The project included the refurbishment of four existing surgeries, relocation and creation of the reception and waiting area, two decon ( decontamination ) rooms and creation of a new surgery. Works also include the refurbishment of all common areas.
The refurbishment works included brand new bespoke made cabinetry including solid surface worktops and sinks, associated services including plumbing electrical and data. New dental chairs were installed with all relevant services fed to support each chair including suction and water supply. New flooring with cap and cove finish, decoration, ceilings, and lights. The reception received a new 4-person reception desk, flooring and lighting. The new dirty and clean decon rooms were created to the first floor along with air conditioning and ventilation throughout. All works were carried out within a fully operational dental practice allowing the remaining surgeries to operate normally and admit patients throughout.
