WorkBox commenced a project in October 2022 with a programme period of 28 weeks to create an indoor Family Entertainment Centre at Telford Shopping Centre over two floors for our clients Flip Out. Demolition commenced including a full M&E strip out, removal of staircases, doors and partitioning to allow the construction works to commence. New works included new partitioning, safety and rubber flooring, full decoration, 30 and 60min fire rated doors and frames, new toilets to all floors, and ceilings. A new reception entry desk was installed, a new servery and kitchen, re-upholster of seating, changing rooms, the creation of party rooms and battery store. A full exposed M&E installation was provided throughout all two floors to complement each activity and support rooms.
The facility once completed now provides indoor attractions including E-Karting, Interactive Football, Laser quest, Ninja Tag, Valo Jump, Soft play, Battle Cannon Arena, Arcades, Bumper Cars, a Diner and Party Rooms. The team at WorkBox worked to a specific design planned by our clients however we created additional facilities and designs to complement the overall layout. All works were completed on time and to budget.
