WorkBox have successfully finished a large-scale project for a new client in Chesterfield. Our team were tasked by CBE+ with modernising a 60,000 sq ft building, home to BG Engineering on the Holmewood Industrial Estate.

The company are one of the region’s leading subcontractors for precision machined components. Our design-led refurbishment saw the 1980s building transformed into a modern state-of-the-art workplace.

Parent company Cooper Brown Enterprises asked us to create an appealing environment which was modern, clean and fresh. For the maximum wow factor, our team designed new offices, a boardroom, a cafe style dining breakout area, new staff kitchen, as well as a bespoke steel fire escape staircase.

The Cat B works refurbishment also included party wall partitioning, suspended ceilings, signage and manifestation design and installation, and bespoke furniture. Our team also installed new lighting, power and data, new HVAC systems and constructed additional block wall laser cutting machine workshops as well as bespoke factory display stands and screens.
